Liverpool Sign Barcelona CB Captain!

Liverpool are close to signing Uruguay defender Ronald Araujo on a season-long loan from Barcelona. The deal includes an option to buy Araujo, who is expected to link up with the Liverpool squad this weekend. The 27-year-old centre-back has helped Barca win La Liga in three of the past four seasons, and ended last season as club captain.

LFIJ Si's Hot Take In Liverpool's particular situation, this is the missing piece in the Yugioh Millenium puzzle! A player who can come in and dominate. A player who can sit on the bench and earn his spot. A physical specimen who has a 10 in physical attributes and a 2 in mental attributes that just needs a change of environment. A prime player from one of the biggest clubs! The best hair since Abel Xavier. Great signing

The Homegrown Finished Product

Arsenal could face competition from Liverpool in their attempts to sign Ezri Konsa from Aston Villa. It is thought that Villa want £60m for the England defender but Arsenal are unwilling to pay that much for a player who has less than two years of his contract remaining.

LFIJ Si's Hot Take 60 Million is pricey but 50 million would be good value for Englands 28 year old starting Centreback who can play right back, is a good character, Premier League proven with a great injury record and would be good for 5 years or more. A real upgrade and completes our squad after the wingers

Freak Athlete Fullback

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Galatasaray defender Wilfried Singo. Liverpool would have to pay around €40 million for a deal, an asking price that is mentioned as affordable for Liverpool. Singo can play fullback and CB and is an Ivory Coast international.

LFIJ Si's Hot Take He won't be fit for the new season and looks more an attacker than a proper defender. Inconsistent, dodgy technique and injury prone. No thanks
